Description | View from inside of an arched window on the second floor. Most of the roof of this building, located directly beneath the center of the explosion, collapsed due to the blast. The walls collapsed on the east and west sides, and the interior burned. Although the building was severely damaged, the frame retained its original form, so it was repaired and used until 1966. Burn marks remained on the stone wall inside the arched window, and, on the right side, there is a stone rupture caused by the high-temperature fire. Inside, a pile of fallen debris and what appears to be a fire door are visible. |
