Description | In 1915, the Shoshi alumni association for graduates of the Hiroshima Higher Normal School constructed a two-story, gothic-looking western-style building made of brick in commemoration of the transfer of Tokiyuki Hojo, the first president of the school. The building was donated to the school and used as a museum for education. The building collapsed, leaving only the east and west walls standing in parallel facing the direction of the hypocenter. Rear right, is Hiroshima University of Literature and Science. |
