| Description |
Looking west from the end of Aioi bridge on the left bank (facing downstream) of Motoyasu River. Despite its proximity to the hypocenter, the parapet located on the downstream side of Aioi Bridge did not fall, though it tilted outward. The building at the top is Honkawa National Elementary School. |
