Description Looking at a series of broken wooden poles at the neighborhood of Kako-machi and the Takanobashi area. The photo was taken as a record for Chugoku Haiden (present-day Chugoku Electric Power Company). Looking east from the neighborhood of the Takanobashi area, about 1,500 meters from the hypocenter. The buildings behind are the National Elementary School affiliated with the Hiroshima Higher Normal School on the left and Hiroshima University of Literature and Science on the right.
