Description | Shimomura Clock Shop's reinforced steel frame was bent like toffee by the bomb's blast, which made the first floor collapse. The blast caused the building to lean to the east (away from the hypocenter) and transformed the two-story building into a single-story structure. On the bottom right, a message board for information on missing employees reads “Please contact: Yamaguchi Pref…..employee.” |
