Description | A Hiroshima Dentetsu streetcar completely gutted by fire (Model 150). The streetcar was heading toward Hiroshima Station and was about 70 meters east of the Kamiya-cho intersection when the atomic bomb exploded. The blast pushed it off the track to the north, and the bomb's intense heat burned the wooden parts. The outer moat of the destroyed Hiroshima Castle can be seen in the left background. |
