| Description | Looking south from the sales office inside Teikoku Bank Hiroshima Branch. Pillars to support the balconies on the north and east-to-west sides were broken, and the balconies collapsed. However, the whole balcony on the south side remained without the ceiling collapsing, as it was built above a room that was solidly constructed with a vault in the center. From left to right: stairway and branch manager room. The area behind the large pillar is the vault produced by Mosler, a safe company in the U.S. A book storeroom is on the right edge. |
