Description | A rescue worker bringing a teacup to the mouth of a girl lying on a thin cushion on a straw mat on the back of a truck. The photo was taken near the sidewalk on the north side of the Nippon Kangyo Bank Hiroshima branch. In this area, with the cooperatin of the Higashi (East) Police Station, a relief station was set up from August 8 to September 8 to accommodate victims. However, those with relatively minor injuries were soon transported outside the city. |
