Description The south and west faces of the Fuel Hall, damaged by the atomic bomb. Part of the south face had already been boarded up by drainboards. The window frames were bent outward due to the bomb’s strong blast, and the roof and some of the walls were badly damaged. The building was originally a kimono store, but it was being used by the Hiroshima Prefecture Fuel Rationing Union and other organizations at the time of the bombing.
