From the left: the Hiroshima branch of Chiyoda Insurance Company, Hiroshima Electric Railway's streetcar tracks (Ujina Line), the head office of Geibi Bank, (a little of the northern side of its west wall can be seen). The vacant spot in the foreground is Shioya-cho, the central mound is an air-raid shelter with an entrance to the southeast. In the rear are Mt. Takeda, Mt. Notoro, Mt. Gongen, and Mt. Abu. In front of those mountains, where withered trees are standing is the West Drill Ground. |
