Description | Treatment provided at Oshiba National Elementary School, which served as a relief station after the bombing. This room is a workshop on the first floor of the new school building, which was not been destroyed in the bombing. Classrooms are being used to house survivors. Even after the Wartime Disaster Protection Law was repealed on October 5 and the relief stations in the city were closed, treatment continued at the school as the Japan Medical Team Hospital. Regular classes were resumed in mid-November. |
