| Description | The Japanese Red Cross Society Hiroshima Branch's building, which was close to the east end of Aioi Bridge, in the days after the atomic bombing. The Red Cross also had a wooden building next to it, but the wooden one completely burned in the fire. The piles of wood in front of the building are thought to have been brought here for cremation. |
