| Description | Looking toward Yamaguchi-cho on the west side of the Hiroshima Higashi (East) Police Statio. This is the first of three panoramic photos taken from the site of Kamata Securities on the south side of the Hiroshima Electric Railway main line streetcar track, focusing on the street with streetcar tracks. Debris had been cleared away from the main street, making it easier for people and vehicles to pass through. Those who are walking along the street are thought to be people inquiring about the safety of their relatives or rescue workers such as local fire brigade members. From far left are the Fukuya Department Store old building and Hiroshima Nagarekawa Church. In the center is the Hiroshima Shinyo Kinko Bank. In the foreground is probably a public restroom. |
