Description Looking toward Yamaguchi-cho on the west side of the Hiroshima Higashi (East) Police Station. This is the second of three panoramic photos taken from the site of Kamata Securities on the south side of the Hiroshima Electric Railway main line streetcar track, focusing on the street with streetcar tracks. Debris had been cleared away from the main street, making it easier for people and vehicles to pass through. Those who are walking along the street are thought to be people inquiring about the safety of their relatives or rescue workers such as local fire brigade members. From the far left are the Hiroshima Central Telephone Office, Kirin Beer Hall, Hiroshima Fukokukan, and Meiji Life Insurance Hiroshima Branch. From the far right are the Shoko Chuo Bank Hiroshima Branch and Fukuya Department Store. In front of the Chugoku Shimbun new building are the Chugoku Shimbun main building and the Nippon Kangyo Bank Hiroshima Branch. In the left foreground is the collapsed wall on the south side of Kamata Securities.
