| Description | Looking toward Yamaguchi-cho on the west side of the Hiroshima Higashi (East) Police Station. This is the third of three panoramic photos. In the center of the picture, debris can be seen on both sides of non-wooden buildings in the Hatchobori neighborhood. The main street with street car tracks and some back streets were cleared of debris, making it easier for people and vehicles to pass through. People walking along the street with street car tracks are thought to be those inquiring about the safety of their relatives or rescue workers such as local fire brigade members. On the left are the Chugoku Haiden (Electric Power Distribution) head office and Tada Pediatrics. In the foreground is the south wall of Kamata Securities, and just behind it is the chimney of the Kubota head office. |
