| Description | Iron shutters destroyed by the bomb’s blast on the west side of the Fukuya Department Store new building. The Fukuya company emblem can be seen in the upper right. Messages such as "Father, mother, still alive" were written on the stone pillar on the left edge of the photo (the messages were recorded in a Mainichi Newspapers memo and cannot be confirmed from the photo itself). |
