| Description | Looking west from the south side of the prewar roundabout on the north side of the Kamiya-cho intersection, north of the entrance to the Western Drill Ground. In the center is the pedestal of the collapsed Sino-Japanese and Russo-Japanese Victory Monument (First Army War Memorial) at the Otemachi entrance to the Western Drill Ground. Behind it is the burned ruins of the Hiroshima First Army Hospital First Branch Hospital. |
