| Description | A camphor tree at Kokutaiji Temple that was destroyed by the atomic bomb. This tree was said to be 300 years old, and it had been designated as a natural monument. It had been well taken care of, with the streetcar track diverted and the sidewalks raised to protect its roots when the city streetcar was constructed. |
