From the right rear: the head office of Hiroshima City Credit Cooperative, a warehouse of Hiroshima Prefecture Nogyokai (present Japan Agricultural Cooperatives), the ruins of Hiroshima Castle, and the 5th Divisional Headquarters building No.1. The road running across the center is the outer moat of the ruins of Hiroshima Castle [Hatchobori]. The burned areas are, from the foreground: Hatchobori and Motomachi. |
