| Description | By the road in the right foreground is the stone torii gate of Ebisu Shrine. The main shrine was reconstructed on November 18th, 1945. In the upper left is Hiroshima Communications Bureau's Mikawacho warehouse, and Tada Pediatric Clinic. On the horizon are, Hiroshima University of Literature and Science (now Hiroshima University), the National Elementary School affiliated with the Hiroshima Higher Normal School, Hiroshima Red Cross Hospital and Hiroshima City Hall. In the rear are Ebayama Hill and Miyajima Island. From the top of the frame, the old Hirataya River (present Namiki Street) runs diagonally. |
