By the road in the left foreground is the stone torii gate of Ebisu Shrine. The main shrine was reconstructed on November 18th, 1945. In the right foreground is Odamasa Shoten shop's warehouse. From the left rear, Hiroshima City Hall, Hiroshima City Asano Library, Chugoku Haiden (present-day Chugoku Electric Power Company) head office, Hiroshima Central Telephone Office and KIRIN Beer Hall. On the horizon are Ebayama Hill, Miyajima Island, and Eba Sarayama. From KIRIN Beer Hall, the old Hirataya River (present Namiki Street) runs to left. |
