| Description | From a square on the south side of the front of the worship hall of Hiroshima Gokoku Shrine, looking east-northeast. Destroyed stone water basin and stone lanterns. It seems the granite basin was blown up into the air by the blast, rotated 90 degrees, then fell down. Two lanterns previously standing on both sides of the collapsed torii gate fell to the north due to the blast. Trees standing along the shrine approach were torn down and had branches broken by the blast. In the burned area to the rear are the remains of Hiroshima First Army Hospital, First Branch. |
