| Description | From south (on the east side road of Motoyasu River) looking north-northwest. Looking at the entrance of the Hall from south. In the rear are Aioi Bridge and the Hiroshima branch of the Japan Red Cross. The blast swept the brick wall that was above the second story of the building’s south wing to the west, and its debris filled the riverside road. The parapet on the west side rooftop of the curved entrance fell off during the Akune Typhoon on October 10th. |
